Candy Strawberries
Candy Strawberries is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello, 1 c. ground pecans, 1 c. flaked coconut, 3/4 c. condensed milk (not evaporated) and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine jello, pecans and coconut.
Stir in milk and vanilla. Chill 1 hour.
Shape into strawberries.
Roll in red sugar.
If you wish, tint sliced almonds with green food coloring and insert in tops of berries to form leaves.
Makes 1 pound, 3 ounces. Very pretty to use among Christmas goodies.
