Candy Popcorn
Candy Popcorn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, 1/4 c. white karo syrup, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bring sugar, water and cream of tartar to boil, covered.
Boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add margarine and baking soda. Pour over popcorn and stir thoroughly.
Must be cane sugar or it will just crumble up and not stick to the popcorn.
