Candy Kisses
Candy Kisses is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 3/4 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream together shortening, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Blend into other batter.
Shape dough in balls with teaspoon.
Roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 minutes.
Remove sheet from oven and insert one candy kiss in each cookie; press down firmly so cookie cracks.
Return to oven for 2 to 5 minutes.
