Candy Date Roll
Candy Date Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 c. chopped dates, 1 c. milk and 1 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Boil sugar and milk until it forms a soft ball when put in cold water.
Add vanilla, then dates.
Cook until it recedes from sides of pan.
Add butter and beat until creamy; add nuts and coconut.
Form into rolls.
Place on oiled paper and set in refrigerator.
Slice when cold.
