Candy Cake
Candy Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 2 egg whites, 1/3 c cold water, 1 1/2 c sugar and 1 tbsp karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Make your favorite yellow cake mix according to directions. Bake in 8 or 9 inch layers.
Allow to cool and make seven minute frosting.
Put all ingredients in top of double boiler and beat with mixer for 7 minutes.
Spread on cake.
Take 1 large peppermint stick and crush.
(Works well in food processor.) Sprinkle between layers, on top, and sides of cake.
