Candy Bar Squares
Candy Bar Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) container soft margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed, 2 eggs and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
In large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, beat margarine and sugars together until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs.
Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. Reserve 1/2 cup of chopped candy.
Stir remaining candy into batter.
Spread mixture into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Scatter remaining 1/2 candy on top of batter.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until browned.
Cool and cut into squares.
Makes 2 dozen.
