Candied Violet is an easy dinner. Made with 40 violets, washed and drained, 1 egg white, beaten, 2 drops almond extract and 1 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Do not attempt to remove green calyx from violet.
Mix egg whites, water and extract.
Brush on violets, covering each flower well.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, completely covering both sides.
They can be dried in the open air a week or two, in a sunny window in 2 or 3 days or in the oven at 200Β° for 20 to 30 minutes.
