Can'T Miss Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. rice, uncooked, 1 c. canned whole kernel corn, 1/2 can water, 1 c. green pepper, chopped and 3 strips bacon, uncooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a greased 2-quart baking dish, combine rice, salt, pepper, corn, 1 can tomato sauce, water, onion and green pepper.
Add ground beef and second can of tomato sauce.
Add 1/4 can of water and cover with bacon strips.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Serves 4 to 6.
