Calipso Pie
Calipso Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 oreo cookie pie shell, 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, 1 small can carnation milk, 2/3 stick margarine and 2/3 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Soften ice cream and pack into pie shell.
Smooth out top.
Place in freezer.
Place remaining ingredients in pan (except for vanilla and nuts).
Cook until soft ball forms in cup.
When thick, place pan in cold water and stir until cold.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour over ice cream and return to freezer.
