As directed, adding to the cooking water 2 bay leaves.
Remove bay leaves after cooking. Saute the onion in butter and add to cooked rice. Add all ingredients and pour in a 13 x 11-inch buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
1 cup sharp cheese on top and bake again until melted.
