California Potatoes
California Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 32 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes, 1/2 c. chopped onions or 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 c. sour cream, 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter or margarine, melted and 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Break potatoes into a large bowl.
Mix sour cream, salt, pepper, onions, cheese and soup together.
Mix with potatoes. Pour melted butter into the mixture and mix well.
Pour all into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Mix the crushed corn flake crumbs and the 1/2 stick of melted butter together and then spread on top of the potatoes.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly.
