Cabbage Slaw
Cabbage Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 2 onions, cut in rings, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Place cabbage and onions in bowl in layers.
Cover with sugar. Make dressing with vinegar, salt, celery seed and mustard.
Bring to boil.
Add oil.
Pour hot dressing over cabbage.
Cover and place in refrigerator.
Toss several times.
Will keep in refrigerator for weeks.
Very good.
