Cabbage Salad
Cabbage Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. slivered almonds, 2 tbsp. sesame seed, 4 c. chopped cabbage, 1 pkg. chicken-flavor ramen noodle soup mix and 1 bunch green onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Toast almonds and sesame seed in oven 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown or microwave on High 6 to 7 minutes.
In large bowl, combine cabbage and onion.
In small bowl combine seasoning packet from noodles, vinegar, oil, sugar and pepper; blend well.
Pour dressing over salad.
Toss to coat.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
