Cabbage Lemon Salad
Cabbage Lemon Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. finely chopped cabbage, 1 small onion, finely chopped, 1/3 c. water, 1/3 c. vinegar and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine shredded cabbage, carrots, onion and green pepper; pour oil over them and let stand while heating mixture of vinegar, water, sugar, mustard seed, celery seed and salt.
When it comes to a boil, add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
Pour over vegetables.
Mix well and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Salad keeps 2 to 3 weeks in tightly covered container.
