Cabbage Casserole
Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with bacon, green pepper, chopped, onion, chopped, medium head green cabbage and c. grated cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Fry bacon; remove from pan and pour off grease except for one tablespoon.
Saute pepper and onion in bacon grease.
Cut cabbage in small chunks; add to pepper and onion.
Saute about 8 to 10 minutes.
Add crumbled bacon, cheese and mushroom soup.
Pour into casserole dish.
Spread buttered bread crumbs on top.
Bake at 350Β° for about 5 minutes, until bubbly and bread crumbs are browned.
