Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cabbage, cut coarsely, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 1/2 c. cooked rice, 5 tbsp. brown sugar and 1 small chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook cut-up cabbage in boiling water until almost tender. Drain.

Put half of the cabbage in bottom of a greased 2-quart casserole reserving the rest for the top.

Mix all the rest of the ingredients together, except the milk and remaining cabbage.

Put into casserole.

Pour milk over it.

Put cabbage on top.

Dot with butter.

Do not cover.

Bake at 350Β° for about 2 hours. Watch so the cabbage doesn't get too burned on top.
