Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large cabbage, grated, 1 large onion, chopped, 6 tbsp. margarine, divided, 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 8 oz. american cheese, cubed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook cabbage in boiling water until tender.

Drain thoroughly in colander.

In large skillet saute onion in 5 teaspoons of margarine until tender.

Add soup and mix well.

Add cheese.

Heat and stir until melted.

Remove from heat.

Fold in cabbage.

Put in 2-quart ungreased baking dish.

In small skillet melt remaining margarine and add bread crumbs until brown.

Sprinkle over casserole.

Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes.
