In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water.

Stir together 2 cups of flour, the sugar and salt until well mixed.

Add 6 tablespoons of the melted butter, the egg, yeast mixture and milk.

Beat about 5 minutes to blend well.

Gradually beat in remaining 2 1/2 cups flour.

Cover and let rise in a warm place until double, about 45 minutes.

Pour 1/2 of remaining butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Beat down butter and drop by spoonfuls into buttered pan, making 15 rolls.

Drizzle remaining butter over top.

Cover and let rise until double (30 minutes).

Bake in a preheated oven (425Β°) for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
