Buttery Caramel Corn
Buttery Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 14 c. popped popcorn, 1/4 c. light corn syrup, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put popcorn in large paper grocery bag.
Combine in 2 qt bowl butter, salt, brown sugar, corn syrup.
Microwave 2 minutes and stir.
Microwave 3 minutes more, stirring after each minute.
Add vanilla and soda.
Stir and pour over popcorn and peanuts, if desired, in bag.
Microwave 1 minute, shake well and repeat.
Pour onto cookie sheet and let cool.
Store in air tight container.
