Butterscotch Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. cold water, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 2 egg yolks and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a sauce pan, mix brown sugar, egg yolks and flour; add water and salt, cook over medium heat stirring frequently. After mixture has thickened, remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Pour mixture in pie shell and bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
