Butterscotch Pie
Butterscotch Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/3 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt (optional), 2 c. milk and 3 slightly beaten egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In saucepan, combine flour, sugar and salt.
With a wire whisk, whip egg yolks into milk.
Add milk and egg mixture gradually to the dry ingredients in the saucepan.
Stir constantly.
Cook until very thick.
The mixture should bubble as you cook it.
Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
Pour into baked 9-inch pie shell and top with meringue, whipped cream or Cool Whip.
