Butterscotch Picnic Bars
Butterscotch Picnic Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. butter, 2 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 3 eggs, 2 2/3 c. sifted flour and 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in brown sugar, remove from heat and cool 10 minutes.
Add eggs, beat until smooth.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir into butter mixture. Add butterscotch morsels and nuts.
Mix well.
Spread evenly in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven about 25 minutes. Cool.
Makes 50 bars.
