Butterscotch Nut Bars
Butterscotch Nut Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt butter in a saucepan.
Remove from heat; blend in sugar. Add eggs one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Add vanilla.
Sift together flour and baking powder.
Add all at once.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
Gently stir in chopped nuts.
Turn into greased oblong pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches.
Spread dough evenly with spatula. Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Don't overbake.
Cool cookies in pan.
If desired, drizzle with glaze.
