Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine first three ingredients.
In a small saucepan, combine butterscotch morsels and shortening.
Melt over hot water, stirring until smooth.
Separate biscuit dough into 20 biscuits.
Roll each biscuit between palms of hands to form an 8 inch strip.
Coat strips with butterscotch mixture, then with crumb mixture.
Coil each strip in greased muffin cup.
