Buttermilk Cake
Buttermilk Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 c. crisco, 6 eggs and 1 tsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine flour, soda, salt and cornstarch.
Put into large mixer bowl the Crisco, sugar, eggs, vanilla and lemon juice and beat 2 1/2 minutes.
Add sifted flour mixture alternately with 1 cup buttermilk.
Beat about 2 1/2 minutes.
Pour batter into greased tube pan and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
