Buttermilk Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. crisco, 2 3/4 c. flour, 1 3/4 c. buttermilk and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Just mix together all ingredients except jam and pie filling. Put in two pans.
Put jam between layers after cake has cooled. Put layers together and cover with Cool Whip.
Spoon pie filling on top.
