Buttermilk Cake
Buttermilk Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 6 egg yolks, 1 c. crisco, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sugar, yolks,
Crisco and salt.
Mix well and add buttermilk, extract and flour. Blend well then fold in 6 egg whites, beaten stiff.
Bake 1 1/2 hours in tube pan at 350Β°.
This may be eaten like it is or you may put your favorite icing on it.
