Buttermilk Cake
Buttermilk Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 c. butter or margarine, 5 eggs, 3 c. flour and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg yolks one at a time and mix well.
Dissolve soda in small amount of warm water, then add 1/2 of buttermilk.
Add to mixture and mix well.
Add rest of buttermilk.
Add vanilla, then add flour.
Beat 150 strokes.
Beat egg whites and add last.
Bake about 1 hour in 300Β° oven using angel food cake or Bundt pan.
Cake may be eaten as is or may drizzle outside with powdered sugar icing.
