Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cups all purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 cup crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in Crisco until mixture is coarse crumbs.
Stir in buttermilk. Knead dough gently.
Roll out to 1/2 inch thick.
Cut with 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 450 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 10 biscuits.
