Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix dry ingredients together and cut in Crisco until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in sour cream with fork.
Add buttermilk gradually until mixture is slightly wet.
Turn out on floured board and knead a little.
Pat out on board and cut with small glass or biscuit cutter.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 450Β° for 10 minutes.
Yields 12 or 13.
