Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 3/4 c. buttermilk and 1/4 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and oil.
In a cup, combine soda and buttermilk.
Add to flour mixture.
Place dough on a floured board.
Knead until dough is smooth.
Roll out in 1/2-inch thickness.
Flour top of glass (size of glass determines size of biscuits).
Place on greased pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
Remove with metal spatula or knife.
