Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plain flour, 1 tsp. salt, 4 tsp. baking powder, 1/3 c. shortening and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Sift dry ingredients together; cut in the shortening.
Mix 1 cup buttermilk and about 3/4 cup water or add some more buttermilk.
Add liquid until of a good consistency.
Turn onto a floured surface and knead until it can be handled good.
Pinch off biscuits; turn in a little oil.
Bake at 450Β°.
Place leftover dough in covered bowl and place in refrigerator until needed. Will keep 3 or 4 days.
It's better baked the next morning.
