Butterhorns
Butterhorns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 1/2 lb. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 large yeast cake and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix flour, shortening, sugar and salt like a pie dough.
Add beaten eggs.
Add yeast that has been dissolved in lukewarm milk. Store dough in refrigerator overnight or at least 4 hours in a cold place.
Roll out dough and shape into butterhorns.
Let rise. Bake 30 minutes in 375Β° oven.
Frost with powdered sugar and milk frosting while warm and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
