Butterhorns
Butterhorns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 c. butter, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. dry yeast and 1 c. lukewarm milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix flour, butter and salt like pie crust, but not too fine. Mix yeast, sugar and milk together.
Add egg yolks.
Add this to first mixture.
Don't stir too much; keep batter lumpy. Refrigerate overnight or for 3 to 4 hours.
Separate into 4 parts. Roll each part into circle the size of 9-inch pie plate.
Cut into 8 pieces as if you were cutting a pie.
Roll into crescent shaped horns.
Bake at 325Β° for 12 minutes.
