Butterhorns
Butterhorns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. milk, scalded, 2 sticks butter, 1 c. sugar, 3 eggs and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine milk, butter, sugar and salt; cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast.
Stir well.
Let stand until yeast makes small bubbles.
Add eggs and flour; mix to smooth soft dough.
Knead lightly on floured surface.
Place dough in greased bowl; cover and let rise until at least double in bulk.
Divide dough in six.
Roll each 6th to 9-inch circle.
Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Cut circle in 12 or 16 wedge-shaped pieces.
Roll each wedge.
Starting at wide end, roll to point.
Arrange in greased baking pan.
Cover and rise until very light.
Bake at 400° to 425° for 15 minutes.
