Buttercream Icing
Buttercream Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 4 c. confectioners sugar and 2 tbsp. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, cream margarine and shortening.
Add vanilla, mixing well.
Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time.
Beat about 5 minutes or until icing appears dry.
Add milk and beat until light and fluffy.
Use immediately or cover with damp cloth.
Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
