Buttercream Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. powdered sugar (sift if necessary), 2 1/2 c. vegetable shortening, 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. butter flavoring and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream shortening.
Add 1/2 of sugar, then 1/2 water as you blend.
Continue to add sugar, then water, until all is used.
Add salt and flavoring.
Will store in fridge for several weeks or in freezer for several months.
