Butter Toffee
Butter Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. water and 1/4 c. chopped black walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put butter, sugar, salt and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
Cook to light crack stage or 285Β° on candy thermometer.
Add 1/4 cup nuts.
Pour out on well buttered jelly roll pan. While still hot, lay the Hershey bars on it.
When they are melted, spread out evenly and sprinkle on rest of nuts.
When cooled, break in pieces.
