Butter Sticks
Butter Sticks is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 2 c. self-rising flour, 2 tsp. sugar, 2/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. milk and poppy seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt margarine in an oblong pan.
Combine flour, sugar and milk; stir with fork until mixture clings together as for biscuit dough.
Place on floured board; knead until dough holds together. Roll into oblong shape.
Cut down center with knife; cut into 1 1/2-inch strips.
Place in pan of melted margarine.
Sprinkle with poppy seed.
Bake in preheated 425Β° oven for about 15 minutes, or until brown.
