Butter Crust Rolls
Butter Crust Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cold milk, 3 cakes compressed yeast, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine milk, eggs and yeast.
Combine dry ingredients. Add to mixture.
Shortening.
Mix with a mixer 7 minutes. Turn onto floured surface.
Roll into a rectangle. Pat softened margarine onto 2/3 dough.
Fold the unbuttered third of dough over the next third, then fold that third over the first third.
Roll again into a rectangle and repeat the process times.
Chill dough at least 12 hours, not more than 24 hours.
(Dough can be frozen.) Make into desired shapes and bake at 375Β° until done.
