Butter Crunch
Butter Crunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. light corn syrup, 3 tbsp. water and 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt butter in large pan.
Add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook to hard crack stage, stirring constantly.
Quickly stir in coarsely chopped nuts.
Spread in lightly greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Cool thoroughly; turn out onto waxed paper.
Spread top with melted chocolate and finely chopped nuts.
Chill; break into pieces.
