Butter Buttons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter and cream cheese with sugar.
Add vanilla and flour.
Shape into balls and flatten on ungreased cookie sheet. Place 3 chocolate chips on each cookie (or decorate with Christmas sugars).
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Do not overbake.
