Buffet Stroganoff
Buffet Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. boneless chicken, cut into 1 inch strips, 1 1/2 c. mushroom pieces, 1/2 c. green peppers, sliced, 1/2 c. onions, sliced and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Saute beef in butter until brown; add mushrooms, peppers and onions.
Saute.
Add beef stock (if beef stock is made from cubes, reduce salt to 1/2 teaspoon).
Simmer 15 minutes; mix flour with sour cream.
Add to beef mixture, stirring well to thicken. Simmer an additional 15 minutes.
Serve over hot buttered noodles.
