Buffet Potatoes
Buffet Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium potatoes, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese, 1/3 c. light cream and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Pare potatoes and cut lengthwise as for French fries.
Place potatoes in center of a large piece of aluminum foil (double thickness).
Shape foil to form a baking dish.
Dot potatoes with butter; sprinkle with seasonings and cheese.
Pour cream over all. Seal foil and cook over hot coals for one to one and a half hours.
Serves 4.
