Bubble Bread
Bubble Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 3 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and let rise.
Pour in one beaten egg and oil.
Add liquid to flour and salt.
Mix and knead for 5 to 10 minutes, until dough is smooth.
Let rise; punch down and let rise again.
Form dough into little balls and dip in mixture of melted oleo, egg, garlic powder and oregano.
Take balls out with slotted spoon and shake off excess liquid.
Put in 9 x 13-inch pan, close together, until pan is filled.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes, until browned.
