Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, soda and sugar together; cut in shortening and add buttermilk and yeast.
Knead lightly, cut in desired size and turn in greased pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
Do not let rise.
If not baked immediately, store in refrigerator.
