Brownies
Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. oil or melted butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 1/2 c. unsifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Blend oil, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
Add eggs; beat well with a spoon.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Spread in a greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.
Cool in pan. Cut into squares.
Makes 16 brownies.
