Brownies
Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, 2/3 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease baking pan (9 x 13-inch).
Melt chocolate and shortening in large saucepan over low heat.
Remove from heat.
Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread into pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until brownies pull away from pan.
Do not overbake.
Cut into bars.
If desired, before cutting, spread with chocolate frosting.
