Brown Gravy
Brown Gravy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 sliced onion, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 c. brown stock and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a frying pan, cook onion in butter until lightly browned. Remove onion and discard.
Continue cooking, stirring constantly until butter is browned.
In a bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.
Add to butter.
Cook until flour is browned.
Slowly add stock, stirring constantly.
Bring to a boil.
Boil for 2 minutes. Yield: Approximately 1 cup.
