Brown Flour Potato Soup
Brown Flour Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 cups potatoes, cubed, 1/4 cup onion, chopped, 1/2 cup celery, chopped, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and 2 chicken bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook first 7 ingredients in 2 cups of water until soft.
DO NOT DRAIN.
In separate frying pan, melt butter or margarine.
Stir in the flour using a wire whisk, if possible.
Stir in about one half to 1 cup of the water from the potatoes.
Add milk and stir until bubbly.
Add to the potatoes.
If soup seems to thick, add a little more milk or tap water.
